Fleet and business vehicle appraisals, priced per vehicle

Collateral, acquisitions, partner buy-outs and dissolutions all need a defensible number on the vehicles. We provide documented values at a flat per-vehicle fee.

The short answer

When vehicles are part of a business transaction, lenders, partners and buyers each need a number they can rely on. Veride provides independent appraisals of fleet and business vehicles, priced per vehicle, with no fee tied to the value.

Situations that call for a fleet or business appraisal

Bank collateral on a vehicle or equipment loan. Business acquisition due diligence. Partner buy-outs and buy-sell agreements. Dissolution of a partnership or LLC. Valuation of a corporate collection or a company's classic car holdings. Insurance schedules.

Each of these has a counterparty who will question a number the other side produced.

How it works

Send a list of vehicles with VINs, mileage and photos. We confirm scope and a per-vehicle fee in writing, then deliver signed reports. Where inspection is needed on the Cape or in southeastern Massachusetts, we schedule it. Elsewhere, desktop valuations are possible when photos and records are good.

Bulk work is typically priced between about $150 and $300 per vehicle depending on volume and scope.

Independent and documented

No fee depends on the value we reach, and we never value vehicles our sister company PCAP Motors buys, sells or consigns. Reports show the comparable sales and reasoning so they can be checked.

Lenders can also screen vehicles with our free Collateral Check and request independent valuations on the ones that need it.

What it costs

A photo-based valuation starts at $199. A certified appraisal is $350, or $595 for classic, exotic and collector vehicles. Fleet and bulk work is priced per vehicle. The fee never depends on the value we reach. See full pricing.

Independent, by design

Veride is an independent valuation firm. We do not buy, sell or consign the vehicles we value, and we never take a fee tied to the outcome. Our sister company PCAP Motors LLC is a licensed dealer, and we never value its vehicles. That is what makes the number worth something to whoever relies on it.
