Vehicle valuation for trustees, wealth managers and family offices

Collector cars sit inside trusts, estates, credit lines and family portfolios. An independent, documented value keeps reporting, lending and distribution clean.

The short answer

A trustee or wealth manager who holds or lends against a collector vehicle needs a defensible value that does not come from an interested party. Veride provides independent valuations and certified appraisals, signed and documented, with no stake in what the car sells for.

Where vehicle values come up for fiduciaries

Trust and estate accounting, distribution among beneficiaries, buy-out of a family member's share, collateral for a securities-based or specialty credit line, insurance schedules, and periodic reporting on a collection. In each, a number that cannot be traced to evidence invites disputes.

An independent report names the comparable sales, explains the adjustments and states the limits of the opinion.

Collections and portfolios

For several vehicles we can provide valuations on a per-vehicle basis, with consistent methodology and an effective date, so the portfolio total is comparable year to year. For lenders on the other side of the table, our free Collateral Check screens which vehicles need independent support.

Independence matters

Veride does not buy, sell or consign the vehicles it values, and never takes a fee tied to the value. If a beneficiary, a court or an examiner asks who prepared the number and whether they benefit, the answer is simple.

For estates specifically, see valuing a collector car in an estate.

What it costs

A photo-based valuation starts at $199. A certified appraisal is $350, or $595 for classic, exotic and collector vehicles. Fleet and bulk work is priced per vehicle. The fee never depends on the value we reach. See full pricing.

Independent, by design

Veride is an independent valuation firm. We do not buy, sell or consign the vehicles we value, and we never take a fee tied to the outcome. Our sister company PCAP Motors LLC is a licensed dealer, and we never value its vehicles. That is what makes the number worth something to whoever relies on it.
